Te hoge hematocriet? 't is ni waar hé...

The Colombian Federation of Skating is allowed to inform that several sportsmen did not fulfill the maximum level of hematocrito, regulated for the Selective National Match to conform the National Selections that will represent to us in the Pan-American Games of Rio de Janeiro- Brazil, and the World-wide Championship in the city of Santiago Cali, Valley of the Cauca.

Consequently, the Federation does not allow the participation of thesesportsmen in the Selective Championship, giving fulfillment thus to the norm contemplated in article 15 of resolution 047 of May 11 of the2007. The determination is based on the stipulated thing by the WADA , and with the purpose of protecting the physical integrity of each one of the sportsmen.

Article 15 of resolution 047 of the 11 of May of 2007, indicates that "to determine 50% of the level of hematocrito at the most allowed to the skaters men, and of 48% to the skaters women. The sportsmen who surpass the allowed levels will not be able to compete in any of the tests of the selective one ".

The director of the national skating clarifies that this situation does not imply the use of doping, nor any sanction for the sportsmen.
Category Senior men:

Julian Aparicio (Santander), Luis Fernando Gomez (Santander), Andrés Felipe Muñoz (Valley), Carolina Upegui(Antioquia), Nicholas Zamudio (Bogota) and Juan Leonardo Rodriguez(FF.AA).

The Federation abstains to provide the names of the rest of the sportsmen, because they are still minors.

greets
