After only two weeks of his position being confirmed as Colombia's Coach, Mr. Elías Del Valle faces a penalty that left him out of his homeland Worlds!

I just received the official press release from the Colombian Federation: Mr. Del Valle was held responsible for an alledged episode of indiscipline during last year's Worlds in Anyang, that featured 2 senior and one junior male athletes, members of the Colombian National Team.
Del Valle was sanctioned with a 6 months ban of official activities, and that means he's out of a job until next fall, being replaced by Mr Libardo Garcia (Del Valle's righ hand for years).
Unoficially, I'm being told that the santion can be lifted upon payment of a fine (undisclosed amount), but in a recent conversation with Mr Del Valle, he pointed out that paying such a fine would be like admiting his responsability in this mess.
What happens next remains to be seen: it's Elias' turn now...
